October @ Funda

Posted on October 24, 2018

We're happy to announce that we will be visiting Funda in October this year.

More details to follow as soon as possible.

Our regular agenda applies:

18.00 doors open

19.00 Roel Spruit - Writing good tests for your apps can save you a lot of trouble in the long run. But how do you make sure that your tests cover as much of your app as possible? Roel want to show you how to use protocols, dependency injection, mocking and snapshots to their fullest potential and how to write tests that you can be proud of.

19.45 break

20.00 Jeroen Leenarts from AppForce1 (and CocoaHeadsNL)

WireGuard is a new VPN protocol created by Jason Donenfeld. It looks to be included into the Linux Kernel. To help move this project forward NLNET asked Jeroen to assist Jason in creating an iOS client implementation of WireGuard. In this session Jeroen will explain how the WireGuard iOS app works. This talk will be mostly about creating and debugging iOS Network Extensions. The core of the app is actually written in GO built with C language bindings. So expect some details on Swift / C interop as well.

Please keep your RSVP up to date as always. This helps with planning and improves the meetups.
