Speaker: Pieter Siekerman will talk about Xcode Storyboards. In his own words: “One of the new features in iOS 5 is Xcode Storyboards, which you create in Interface Builder. I’ll be looking at what they are, how they work and what the point of using them is.”

Speakers: Ben Lenarts (@benlenarts) will talk about building a Mac app, Beamer, having only experience with the iOS SDK.

Guit-Jan Ridderbos (@guitjan) and Robin van Dijke (@rvandijke) will talk about generating custom PDF documents in iOS using a library they developed. The source of these PDF documents is defined in XML and one can specify ‘CSS’ like styles.

13 December 2011 – Special Holiday Party in Amsterdam!

As this is our holiday party we won’t have any speakers but will instead just be hanging out with our fellow developers. There may be Cocoa-themed games and prizes…

Automating User Interface Testing with UIAutomation,  BDD style with Jasmine, Coffeescript, and tuneup.js 

“UIAutomation is part of the Instruments suite, starting from the version iOS 4.0 SDK. It uses Javascript scripts to direct interaction with the application’s user interface and to test the application’s functionality.

“Hélas is quite a new framework and it still needs a lot of improvements to make it attractive to app developers.

“This evening, I would like to share with you my experiences in working with this iOS native ui testing framework and what I have got out of it.”
