January @ Q42

Posted on January 13, 2016

This year we got some great meetups planned already. Starting in January where we'll be hosted at Q42 at their amsterdam office. (The trip to mountain view might be a bit far for some of us :))

JSON parsing without Strings* - Tom Lokhorst Q42

Tom explains how his JsonGen tool helps you deal with JSON in the statically typed world of Swift.

He compares his code generation approach to libraries like Argo or Mapper, and Apples arrays-and-dictionaries approach.

Our own @nvh will give the second talk about Protocol Oriented DataSources. In Swift, obviously.

We aim to start at 19.00 with some food and drinks and will follow our regular routine with some room to discuss between talks.

Looking forward seeing you in this first meetup of 2016!

PS: Q42 just updated their vacancy

There will be food and drinks sponsored by Q42 so in case you can't make it please update your RSVP as there is a waitlist of 9 people at the moment!

As the spaces are limited think of your fellow cocoaheads. No lifestream unfortunately but we are working on recording the talks tonight!

UPDATE: Food will be there around 18.15 already
